7.0/10
The hotel offers clean and decently spacious rooms with modern furnishings, although the Murphy bed could be more comfortable. The service is a mixed bag with some staff being rude but others quite helpful. The location is convenient with proximity to shopping centers and dining options, yet cleanliness could be improved. The dining experience, while not elaborate, offers nicely prepared options, albeit with parking payment issues. Overall, the facilities are satisfactory, meeting basic needs and providing for a comfortable stay.

6.6/10
My stay at the hotel was satisfactory with a mix of positives and negatives. The location was very convenient, close to popular spots, but the rooms were a bit overpriced for what they offered. The service was lacking in some areas like not acknowledging me properly, but the dining experience was enjoyable. Overall, a decent choice for a short stay.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms were a bit pricey for what they were. I also had an issue with the balcony door that did not close properly, letting in smells like cigarettes.
Service
5.0
The service was not the best. They were not attentive and failed to acknowledge me properly. However, the dining experience and amenities like dry cleaning and laundry were satisfactory.
Location
9.0
The location was a major plus. It was directly across the street from popular spots, and there were plenty of dining options within walking distance.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was good, but I felt that the continental choice should have been included in the rate as it was at other Hilton properties I've stayed at.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had adequate facilities, but the elevators were a bit crowded and slow with only two in operation. There were a few shops on-site, but nothing extraordinary.

6.2/10
Our stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were ideal for our family of five with three younger children, but unfortunately, we found them to be very dirty. The hotel had rooms supposed to have balconies, which was a nice touch, but the state of the bed was a letdown.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were ideal for our family of 5 with 3 younger children but were very dirty. I was disappointed that the beds were not up to standard.
Service
7.0
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. However, I had a negative experience when they charged me an additional $500 without my authorization. On a bright note, it was convenient to have the trolley stop opposite the hotel.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel was very good, as it was perfect for being able to go to downtown, the beaches, and anywhere we wanted to in San Diego. It was excellent being a short walking distance from the trolley station, allowing easy access to various parts of the city. Additionally, daily grocery and fashion shopping being 5 minutes away from the lobby was a plus point.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience at the hotel left much to be desired. I wasn't informed about the handicapped spaces, and to my surprise, I had to pay for parking. The breakfast offered was sub-standard, and I had to pay an extra $10 for a meal with protein, something I haven't experienced in other Hilton properties I've stayed at. On top of that, the restaurant seemed to lack the quality I expected.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities at the hotel were decent overall, but I was disappointed by the lack of information on handicapped spaces and the inadequate breakfast options. The fact that I had to pay extra for parking was an additional drawback to the facilities offered.
